Framed Baguette Trays

Framed Tray Construction

Framed baguette trays are specified when the channel sheet needs a defined perimeter frame or support structure for commercial handling. The engineering focus is rigidity, reinforcement and rack loading rather than channel count alone.

Rigidity and Reinforcement

Frame profile, perimeter dimensions, cross supports and the way the channel sheet joins the frame should be reviewed against tray span and handling. Reinforcement is project-specific: it should control unwanted movement without assuming an unsupported load rating.

Rack Loading and Handling

Side support width, insertion direction, stops, hand-contact areas and loaded tray clearance can determine whether a framed tray fits the bakery rack. Commercial production handling may also require review of stacking, transfer points and how operators or equipment engage the frame.

Channel Sheet and Frame Interface

Channel geometry and perforation still define dough support and airflow, but the RFQ should separately identify the frame material, frame section, support members and attachment layout. For a project driven primarily by channel count and throughput, see multi-channel baguette pans.

Production and Quality Control

Production follows approved drawings or samples. Dimensional checks, surface review, coating review, packing inspection and change confirmation can be included in the order control plan.

RFQ Frame Requirements

Send the overall frame length and width, frame profile or section, support locations, channel sheet dimensions, channel count, rack contact dimensions, loading direction, material preference, coating requirement, quantity, drawing and photos of any reference tray.
